The story of LittleWins is one fueled by passion, resilience, and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others. This narrative begins with a diverse professional background, as I worked various jobs starting from a young age. From being a dishwasher, busser, housekeeper, hostess, nanny, bartender, janitor, bookkeeper, model, and actress, my career path had no connection to the medical field.
Professional Development and Education
Unable to afford college, I had to find alternative means to educate myself. I embraced learning through life experiences and turned to resources like YouTube and Google. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was grateful for the opportunity to take advantage of the free online courses provided by institutions. These courses allowed me to expand my knowledge in different areas, including coding, which would later play a role in my entrepreneurial journey.
A Mother’s Determination to Help
The trajectory of my life changed drastically when one of my children suffered a skull fracture during a C-section, resulting in cerebral palsy. This life-altering event led me on a path of desperation, as I sought to ensure that my child received the best care and necessary equipment. However, I soon realized how difficult it was to find the information I needed and access regular therapy appointments. Even with insurance, acquiring the required equipment proved to be a challenge. This personal experience opened my eyes to a massive problem that I was not previously aware of.
Driven by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help others facing similar challenges, I embarked on a mission to make a difference. I interviewed families, caregivers, doctors, and therapists, gathering valuable insights into their experiences and journeys in acquiring care and therapy equipment. These interviews became the foundation upon which I founded LittleWins, a marketplace rooted in the simple concept of sharing.
Overcoming Challenges and Celebrating Successes
As I set out to create a solution with LittleWins, I realized how much I didn’t know about running a business. The fear of failure was overshadowed by the fear of not trying. I embraced the challenge by breaking down the big picture into smaller tasks and tackling them one by one. I learned how to create an LLC and navigated the complexities of setting up a website.
The day LittleWins went live was a monumental moment, even though I was the only user at the time. However, the first person who messaged me about a product listed on the website marked the first success. It was in that moment that I realized the impact LittleWins could have on people’s lives. Over the years, we expanded our offerings, and I worked tirelessly to
develop the idea of medical supply subscription boxes. Through surveys and input from our members, we were able to refine our focus and launch the subscription boxes three years later.
Every email, voicemail, or message from our members about acquiring something they needed became a source of inspiration and affirmation. LittleWins became a platform where individuals could find the support they needed and where they no longer felt alone and isolated. Every product created was meticulously thought out and approached with integrity and attention to detail.

What sets LittleWins apart is our commitment to truly understanding the needs of our users. I believe in experiencing the challenges firsthand, which is why I have tried our products myself. From sitting in a wheelchair to understand accessibility issues to navigating different terrains, I put myself in the users’ shoes. When existing solutions fell short, I created new ones by holding spoons or trying on compression socks to ensure their quality.
This hands-on approach allows me to stand behind the products and provide the best possible user experience. I strive to put myself inside the users’ life experiences, as empathy and understanding are crucial elements of our mission.

Collaboration with existing companies is another avenue we are exploring to further our impact. Additionally, we recently launched our medical supply subscription boxes, a concept that has been in development for three years. These boxes aim to simplify the process of acquiring essential supplies. We are also preparing for the fourth season of the LittleWins podcast, which gained recognition in Spotify’s top 20 most shared podcasts globally.
Work-Life Balance and Personal Growth
For me, my work at LittleWins is not just a job but a fulfilling and enjoyable endeavor. It is an honor and a pleasure to make a difference in the lives of others. My children are actively involved in LittleWins, which strengthens our work-life balance and creates a shared sense of purpose. Whether it’s storyboarding or developing new ideas, we collaborate as a family.
Outside of work, I pursue personal interests and growth. I am halfway through obtaining my private pilot’s license and attend school three times a week. Gardening and travel provide me with inspiration and new perspectives, often leading to innovative ideas for LittleWins.

When asked for advice to aspiring leaders, I believe in the power of hard work, curiosity, and resilience. Keeping your head down and consistently giving your best effort is essential. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and be a good listener with an open heart and mind. Stay true to your founding values and principles, and always maintain a sense of curiosity. Even in the face of challenges, don’t give up, because success can be achieved by those who persevere.
